Question: Were do Junice and Melissa get placed?
Answer: Let me explain a little bit. Ms.Davis, the social worker, decides that Melissa and Junice living with Ms.Ruby is not a good idea. Ms.Davis tries to keep Melissa and Junice together so she sends them both to Memphis. Also guess who goes with them? Damien! Yup hes siting right there going to Memphis with them.

Question: What goes on when Sledge and Damien to get into a fight?
Answer: Sledge always liked to act like the big guy but, when he goes to far everything breaks loose.They fight because Sledge said that he made love to Junice and Damien no's that's not true. Damien hits and knocks him to the ground. When Sledge was on the ground Damien kept swinging and whaling on Sledge. When Slegde decides he's had enough he pulls out his shank leaving Damien with a scratch on himself. They both get up and walk away leaving the little kids there to talk about Damien and Sledges fight.

Answer: Well let me say this right now I wouldn't want to be in shoes, her mothers in jail, her grandmother is a drunk, her father doesn't come around, and she has to take care of her little sister. Plus she doesn't want to be rude to Damien. She doesn't want to be rude to him because she likes him. Also unlike the other women in her life she wants to be something. She has carry all that weight on her shoulders wow.

Characters
The main characters of this story is Damien and Junice. The parents of Damien are Ernestine and Avery Battle. Damien was an only child but, not Junice she had a little sister named Melissa. The parents of Junice were Leslie Amber's and Arthur Williams. Her parents were divorced and her mother was in jail so she lived with her grandmother Miss Ruby also, as I said, her little sister Melissa. Also Damien's rival Sledge and Damien's friend Keven.Also theres Ms.Davis shes the social worker.
About Street Love
Street Love is a very good book, it is now one of my favorites! The author of this book is Walter Dean Myers. Street Love is a book about two lovers with one who has not relized she was in love. But Damien, the boy that was in love, knew he was lovestruck by Junice. Junice was the one who did not know she was in love. At the end it was a happy ever after though. They find out that they are more than perfect for each other!
